The Sky-Tec Fit Guide located here on the
Sky-Tec Web
does NOT provide FAA PMA eligibility
information* therefore,
PLEASE UNDERSTAND, IT IS JUST A GUIDE.
In many cases, there is more than one if not
multiple FAA PMA eligible, suitable and appropriate starter
models for any particular aircraft.
The Fit Guide recommends just ONE based on
myriad considerations and variables, therefore
PLEASE UNDERSTAND, IT IS JUST A GUIDE.
The information on the Fit guide is highly
simplified & generalized
and does NOT guarantee a starter to fit
a particular aircraft, therefore
PLEASE UNDERSTAND, IT IS JUST A GUIDE.
Through the years, manufacturers and mechanics
often make changes to particular aircraft some of which may not
be documented.
Therefore it is nearly impossible to provide a
definitive model applicability list, therefore
PLEASE UNDERSTAND, IT IS JUST A GUIDE.
However, if used properly, the Fit
Guide is an excellent starting point for determining which
starter should be the right one for your aircraft.
When in
doubt, call the factory and confirm that the starter you select
is indeed the right starter for you, therefore
PLEASE UNDERSTAND, IT IS JUST A GUIDE
And if the aircraft you are fitting does not
conform to the information within or if
you have any doubt as to the applicability of
any starter to a particular aircraft,
please call the factory before
buying/installing any starter.
